Lazy Meeple Privacy Policy

The short version

Lazy Meeple has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Your board game shelf and your preferences stay on your device, and we never receive a copy. The rest of this page explains that in more detail.

Information we process

Lazy Meeple does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information for registration.

If you choose to enter your BoardGameGeek (BGG) username, we use it only to retrieve your public collection from the BoardGameGeek API. We do not store your username on our servers.

You can also build your shelf without a BoardGameGeek account, by searching the catalog and adding games one at a time. Those choices are made on your device.

Local storage

The games on your shelf — however you added them — and your app preferences are stored locally on your device. This information is not uploaded to us.

External services

Lazy Meeple communicates with:

• Our backend service, to look up board game information.
• The BoardGameGeek API, to import the public collection associated with the username you provide.

These services may process technical information such as your IP address as part of normal Internet communications.

Analytics and advertising

Lazy Meeple does not use analytics services and does not display advertisements.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties.

Deleting your data

Because everything Lazy Meeple saves lives on your device, you stay in control of it. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling Lazy Meeple removes your shelf and your preferences for good. We hold no account and no copy of your collection, so there is nothing to delete on our side.

In-app purchases

Lazy Meeple Deluxe is an optional, one-time in-app purchase. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store, depending on your device — we do not receive or store your payment information.

Children's privacy

Lazy Meeple is not specifically directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change to match.
